Cainz (Honjo City, Saitama Prefecture) will set up an unmanned cashier-less "CAINZ Mobile Store" in the lobby on the 1st floor of Cainz Headquarters and start a demonstration experiment from September 1st. The store will be limited to employees, and will consider future developments based on the results of the demonstration experiment.
The store has an area of 15.5 square meters and is open 24 hours a day. It handles about 200 items, mainly Cainz original products. With the installation of the CAINZ Mobile Store, customers will be able to shorten shopping time without contact, and stores can expect efficiency improvements due to labour savings.
