Imports and Exports at Narita Airport hit a record high, demand air transport rises due to corona

Narita Airport's export value for January to June increased 25.7% year-on-year to 7.6579 trillion yen, while import value increased 21.9% year-on-year to 9.2897 trillion yen. Both increased for the third consecutive quarter, surpassing the July-December 2021 period and setting new record highs. It also ranked first among all airports and ports in Japan in terms of both export value and import value.
