"Phishing Fraud" cases reported in July exceeded 100,000 for the 1st time, the highest ever

Last month, the number of reports on phishing scams, which tricks people by deceiving personal information by directing them to fake sites, exceeded 100,000 for the first time, reaching a record high. A new trick to guide people with short messages such as "There are unpaid taxes" by pretending to be the National Tax Agency has been confirmed, and the Anti-Phishing Council is calling for attention.

According to the Anti-Phishing Council, the number of reported emails related to phishing scams exceeded 100,000 for the first time at 107,948 last month.

In addition, the number of phishing sites that deceive users by deceiving them by entering personal information by e-mail etc. was 49,188 last month, which is the highest number ever per month.
