T Card company to sell customer data of 40 million people. Is your "consent" valid?

Culture Convenience Club (CCC) will start full-scale sales of personal data of T Card users. What is used is our usage history collected from 5,300 affiliated companies nationwide. According to CCC Marketing, an affiliate of CCC, there are currently about 70 million T card users. Among people in their 30s, the figure rises to 81.4% of Japanese people of the same generation. In addition to TSUTAYA, points can be accumulated and used at 150,000 stores operated by approximately 5,300 companies, including convenience stores, drug stores, gas stations, consumer electronics retailers, and online shops.
