Fast Retailing, which operates the casual clothing brand Uniqlo, opened a "virtual store" for a limited time on the 1st, reproducing a part of the sales floor of the flagship store "UNIQLO TOKYO" (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on the web.
The actual store was shot with a 360-degree camera. Users can select products through the screen of their smartphone or other device as if they were looking around a store, and can purchase 56 autumn/winter items, including children's clothing, online. The virtual shop is said to be open until the end of October.
